Please join us for our next Land Use and Transportation Committee Open House & Meeting on Feb. 18th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the German American Society(GAS), 5626 NE Alameda.
There will be a pre-meeting starting at 6:30 pm to discuss the Car2Go parking issues on 60th Ave., the outer edge of their Portland service area. This issue was brought to the Board’s attention by a neighbor.
The Open House will be conducted from 7:00-8:00 pm for public viewing and comments at different stations focused on:
1) Euclid Heights Down-Zoning from R2.5 to R5;
2) 60th Ave Station Area Redesign , I-84 north to Broadway NE 57th to NE 63rd; and
3) Transit Communities Transportation Improvements(map and slide show), affecting the area between I-84 north to Hancock and NE 47th east to NE 75th.
At 8:00 pm the LU & TC will reconvene and provide presentations on all these issues, request discussion, and make a recommendation to the RCPNA Board regarding these issues at their meeting on March 1st from 7-9 pm at GAS. The recommendation provided by the Board will be forwarded to the Portland City Council at their final Comprehensive Plan Update hearing in April.
