Hi Folks,
The following is the LU & TC Agenda for this Thurs, July 21st, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the German American Society, 5626 NE Alameda.
Scheduled public review items include:

1. RCPNA Recommendation on the Residential Infill Project.  Proposal will impact almost ALL of the Rose City Park neighborhood.  (RCPNA Board review Tues. Aug. 2nd. )
See Map: http://www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/article/582505
More Information: http://www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/67728

Key Elements:
>Housing Types – allowing up to 3 units for every property in R-5 zone.  See Map for expanded interpretation of ‘Centers’ where taken together with ‘High Transit Corridors’ covers all but a small area of the entire RCP neighborhood.
>Historically Narrow lots – Encouraging the demolition or internal redesign of existing homes that sit on more than 1 narrow lot. Where property zoned R2.5 increase density options.
>Scale of Houses – Limit the size of houses to match the size of the lot with max. height 30 ft. Proposed maximum size 2,500 square ft. house excluding basements and non habitable attics.

2. Campus Institutional Zone – Transportation Demand Management/parking and traffic requirements(see attached). Issues: PBOT’s removal of performance based requirements and failure to acknowledge structural deficiencies.

3. Updates:     A. Historic Register Option for 60th Ave. Sta. Area
B.  Mixed Use Commercial Zone – Parking

Thank you for your consideration.

Best,

Tamara DeRidder, AICP
